Product Description
Super OM 5 Multimode fiber and fiber, also known as gradient fiber, gradient refractive index fiber, is the fiber with gradient refractive index or gradient distribution of the fiber core area in the cross section (such as parabolic shape). The purpose of adopting the gradient refractive index fiber is to reduce the pattern dispersion of the multimode fiber. This fiber has small dispersion and bandwidth is 1~2 orders of magnitude larger than that of mutant fiber, which is suitable for medium distance fiber communication system.
Super OM 5 of the broadband bending insensitive multimode fiber is designed for short wavelength wavelength multiplexing. Different from conventional OM 4 fiber, which only has high bandwidth near 850nm wavelength, super OM 5 bending insensitive multi-mode fiber has high bandwidth in the wavelength range of 850-950 nm, providing fiber solutions for 100 Gb / s and 400 Gb/s multi-wavelength transmission systems.
Product Characteristics:
*Excellent micro-bending resistance for tight cable cable performance superior in various environmental conditions
*Very low macrobend sensitivity
*Optimization design for a multi-wavelength transmission system
*High bandwidth in the wavelength range from 850 to 950 nm
*Compatible with the existing OM 4 optical fibers
*Low attenuation
*high broadband
*Low differential mode delay (DMD)
*Support for single and multiwavelength transmission systems of 40 & 100 & 400 Gb / S
Applicable to :
*DC
*Data storage network
*High-performance computing center
*Office center
*LAN
